K.P. Singh selected to receive Dr. Bhagat Singh Third Community Empowerment Award on October 16, 2010 at the 2010 National Gala of the Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund. The award celebrates members of the Sikh American community who embody the spirit of seva (selfless service). In particular, the award recognizes “efforts to encourage civic engagement and cultural diversity as a model to be followed.”

K.P. will be signing copies of his book, The Art and Spirit of K.P. Singh, at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Indianapolis on June 4, 2006. This book signing will start at 9 a.m. and last until 12:30 p.m.
K.P. will also show his artwork and book at the Talbot Street Art Fair on June 10-11.
K.P. will be showing his artwork and book at several upcoming spring 2006 art fairs. His display will include original drawings and prints of historic landmarks from Indiana and around the world, many of which are featured in The Art and Spirit of K.P. Singh.

These shows are a great opportunity to meet talented artists from around the country, see wonderful artwork and creativity, and have a fun, family-friendly experience.
K.P. will be exhibiting his artwork in the Promenade Gallery of the Circle Theatre, home of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, from January 30 through February 27, 2006. The exhibit will include original drawings and prints of historic landmarks from Indiana and around the world, many of which are featured in his recently published book: The Art and Spirit of K.P. Singh.
